Mel Karam leads the Global Asset Management team in KPMG, working across more than 25 countries including UK, USA, Canada, Australia, India, and Singapore. He has over 25 years of experience in managing assets in power and utility industry working at senior executive level for companies such as British Gas, National Grid, Scottish and Southern Energy SGN, during which he has been responsible for planning and operation of London and South of Englandpower infrastructure. He is widely recognised as one of the leading global experts in asset and investment management. Mel has also worked to deliver Asset Management and Business Optimisation solutions to organisations in the region like Public Utilities Board (Singapore), SMRT (Singapore) and MMC Korporation (Malaysia).

 

Mel is a member of the Global Infrastructure Team bringingglobal best practice to help clients in asset intensive industries get bestvalue from their existing and new assets and investments through efficiency andservice improvement strategies. He has assisted clients with strategicplanning, investment planning, capital programme optimization, supply chainmanagement, asset management, maintenance and operation optimization,Enterprise Asset Management technology, and data analytics.
